1-Way Remote Transmission

This means the remote sends a signal to the car but does not receive any information back from the car. The user is limited to the parking light flash from the vehicle as confirmation. Approximate 1000-1500 ft. range.

2-Way Remote Transmission

This means the remote sends a signal to the car and receives confirmation back from the car and displays it on the remote. The remote will verify the door lock status (Lock, unlock, trunk). The remote also verifies whether the vehicle is started or stopped. It will display the remaining time left for the current remote start session as well. It will also tell the user the internal temperature of the vehicle's interior. Approximate 1500-3000 ft. range.
