Reimbursement, Warranty, and Return Policies

REIMBURSEMENT FOR WORK PERFORMED OUTSIDE OF REMOTE START & STEREO

Before a reimbursement claim can be made by a customer to Remote Start & Stereo we must be contacted, and the vehicle must be evaluated by one of our staff in order to be compensated for but not limited to diagnosis, modification, or adjustment. We at Remote Start & Stereo strive to continually study new technologies as they become available however sometimes situations occur and can cause unwanted results that are beyond our control. If you feel your vehicle is running un-desirable or if you simply have questions we would encourage you to contact us at 563-543-2894, Monday through Friday 9:00AM to 5:00PM to schedule an evaluation. We count on you as a customer to contact us if these unwanted operations occur so we can better them in your vehicle as well as others to come.

WARRANTY POLICIES PERTAINING TO INSTALLATION OF AFTERMARKET ACCESSORIES

Remote Start & Stereo warrants all wiring and workmanship from defects. Both are applicable to the vehicle installed. Warranty is void if Product is uninstalled or serviced by anyone other than Remote Start & Stereo. All Products are covered under their manufacturer's warranties.

Manufacturer Warranty On Crimestopper Products Unit has a limited Lifetime Warranty from defects. Remotes carry no warranty, however if they are inoperable due to manufacturer defects we will replace them free of charge at Remote Start & Stereo's discretion. Remote Start & Stereo will replace your first set of replacement batteries free of charge. Replacement batteries beyond your first free set are available for a cost of $5.00. Warranty is void if uninstalled or serviced by anyone other than Remote Start & Stereo.

Manufacturer Warranty On All Other Products Products sold though Remote Start & Stereo carry a warranty through their respected Manufacturers. Each manufacturer has stipulations on their warranties; you must consult them for full details.

Remote Start & Stereo offers NO Warranty for products purchased elsewhere. This means the owner and/or the manufacturer of the product is responsible for replacements, operation, and/or warranty information. However we will service your products at our shop rate.
Labor costs for replacement of defective products are not covered under any warranty. Labor costs can be accrued when warranty work is performed unless otherwise stated. All original receipts must be provided before warranty work can be performed. Without proof of purchase all repair work will be performed at the current shop rate, not free of charge.

RETURN POLICIES

Remote Start & Stereo offers in-store credit on anything returned. If installation was performed, that cost will not be discounted. Return of unopened remote starters will be granted with a 20% re-stocking fee. Remote Start & Stereo reserves the right to decide whether a return will be granted on a one on one basis.
